Blu-ray Many video cameras can now record in high definition. If any part of your project is recorded in HD, then you may want to upgrade to a Blu-ray disc so you can enjoy your memories in better quality. There will be no extra cost for editing, just for the individual copies. DVD versions of the same disc can still be made. For more info please contact us. |

Internet Once your disc is complete it can be made into a Flash video to be viewed on the internet, complete with the same menus and extras. Portable media In this digital age we can now watch videos on many mobile devices, including ipods, games consoles and phones. If you have any kind of portable media player, we can convert individual videos from your project (without menus), into the right format for your device. Then it will be put on our webspace ready for you to download. For more info please contact us. |

Photo disc We can also make discs of still photographs presented as slideshows. These can include a simple menu to divide the photos up into different sections, and some background music to spice it up a bit. This will be charged at £10 per slideshow (maximum 99 photos) plus £10 for a simple menu, plus postage. If copyrighted music is used you will also need a license (see below), but we can use public domain music which can be used for free. We can also use the images to make a cover and disk label for £15. |

The Process For any enquires just fill out a form on the contact page. Please include as much information as possible and we will get back to you shortly with a quote. Any special requirements can be discussed either through email or on the phone. If you want to go ahead, please send the media to the following address, and let us know when we are likely to receive them, so we can book you in. Middle Man Video Services Editing Once we've looked at the material we will have a much better idea of what to do with it. At this point there can be further consultation. When the project is complete you will be able to have a look and make sure its exactly what you want, either over the internet or on a DVD in the post. This is your chance to change anything you don't like about it or add anything that's missing. After any modifications your DVDs will be made and sent out to you as soon as payment is received. This can be done with a cheque in the post, or instantly on-line with your card using Paypal. Time frames will depend on workload, but we will let you know in the quote if there's likely to be delays. Normally it won't be more than a week from when we receive the tapes. The discs are provided on DVD-R format which has the widest compatibility, and will work with most modern DVD players. If there is any problems please let us know, preferably with the make and model of the DVD player, and we will arrange another disc to be sent to you of a different format. Copyright When copyrighted music is used in any project it needs to have a license. This is normally a PPL license which we will arrange for you. More information can be found at www.mcps-prs-alliance.co.uk or www.wvrl.co.uk for weddings. This won't usually be more than £5 per disc, but this can vary if you have special requirements like live performances or hymns being sung at a wedding etc. We will include this in your quote, but it is subject to change and will be calculated when the license is obtained with the latest prices. |
