Memories are one of the most important things to all of us, and what better way to remember an event than to film it. But what happens once we've recorded our home movie? Well after the first watch, where everyone fell asleep through dad's never-ending scenic views, it then normally sits on a shelf for years because you can't remember how to wire up the camera to the TV, and by the time you do come to watch it again, the cameras broken and the format its recorded on isn't used anymore.

These days though, its easy to put your own video onto DVD. But not everyone has the hardware, the knowhow or the time to do this themselves. Thats where we come in. Send us your tape(s) and we will convert them to DVD or Blu-ray, not only that but we will edit the video adding music, titles, transitions and effects. Now dad's never-ending scenic views can become a nice montage, cut into the video seamlessly with music and captions. It could be a family occasion like a holiday or party. It can be a collection of events, like your child's first year or the best goals of the season for your local team.

The disc will include a completely bespoke DVD menu, from which you can navigate to the different sections of your home movie. This can include chapter points of the main feature, and any extras you want to include. Perhaps a live performance you saw on your travels, or all the bits that were cut out. It can also include photographs from the event, either blended into the video or as a separate slideshow. This is YOUR video, so if you have any ideas we will be happy to incorporate them. Maybe you want to record a commentary, or add subtitles with the names of all your relatives.

The Discs will be presented in a standard sized DVD case, with a completely custom printed cover and disc label, using images from the video and/or still images provided.

• It will be on a DVD or blu-ray disk which won't degrade like tape, and you won't have to set up your video camera to watch it.
• You will get multiple copies to give to friends and relatives.

Prices

All jobs will be quoted based on how much footage there is to be edited, and any special requirements you may have. To give you an idea, here is a typical, recent quote.

Based on 2 hours of footage, on 2 tapes, your DVD will cost £125 inc vat. this will include -

Editing of the footage.
A DVD menu.
1 photo slideshow (up to 99 photos).
Designed and printed DVD cover and disc label.
5 copies of the DVD (including the needed license for copyrighted music).
and we'll throw in 1 week of the video being on the net for free.

Its unlikely to cost more than £165 if you do end up with more footage.
